Who we are
Association of Polytechnic HND Accountancy Students (APHAS) is an organization made up of highly-dedicated students with the mission of assisting student towards their professional life. In order to accomplish this mission, our association provides three types of services: facilitate information and networking, self-growth, and fellowship. It is these very services that make APHAS such an attractive and recognizable association within the Polytechnics of Ghana.

Facilitate information and networking is our external service. By working with our sponsors from various accounting designations and firms, we are able to host a variety of information sessions that will expand the knowledge of students towards the accounting industry and facilitate a correct career choice. Our networking events are also beneficial as students can interact with our sponsors to acquire personal insights of various accounting professions as well as increasing their likelihood of employment by having an opportunity to showcasing their strengths and value.

Self-growth is our internal service. Our association recognizes academic excellence alone will not guarantee a successful career. Other qualities such as leadership, time management, and interpersonal skills are just as important. Thus, our association encourages the improvements of these faculties by giving members opportunities to manage or volunteer in APHAS events. At the same time, the association will ensure necessary assistance is provided so that members are learning at a comfortable pace while enjoying the experiences at the same time. We provide plenty of opportunities for our members as we host a large number of events annually.

Fellowship is our social service. We believe a strong support network is the best way to alleviate academic stress and motivate students to the next level. Thus, our association is made up of members that are very supportive to one another and provide recognition and encouragement to members that have contributed or willing to contribute to the organization.
