KWASI AGYEMAN-BADU - 2007/2008 NATIONAL FINANCE OFFICER
Kwasi Agyeman-Badu is the name. In the year 2005, he was admitted into the Cape coast polytechnic to pursue a higher national diploma in Accountancy studies.Because of the level of commitment and the zeal with which he attached to the programme of the association of Polytechnic HND Accountancy students – C-Poly Chapter, he was voted into office as the public relation officer for the 2006/2007 administrative period to serve as the month piece of the association. He worked diligently to the administration of all and sundry in reading the necessary awareness among the students of cape coast polytechnic with the view of promoting the activities of the association. In collaboration with the other executives, the educated members on current accountancy practices through seminars, symposium and other related programmes. His work therefore came to an end successfully. However, as a result of constitutional demand, the national administrative seat rotates among member chapters of the polytechnics in Ghana. As a result, it was the turn of the cape coast polytechnic to lost the 2007/2008 administrative period. Master Kwasi Agyeman-Badu therefore came out from among the lot through the vetting committee to aspire for the position of the maturity with which he exhibited during his public relation office era, and the telepathic understanding that he, in collaboration with the other executives brought among the executive and the students body, he won massively. On the 10th of June, 2007 at exactly 3:25pm, he was inducted into office as the NATIONAL FINANCE OFFICER FOR THE ASSOCIATION OF POLYTECHNIC HND ACCOUNTANCY STUDETNS-GHANA. He is in collaboration with other executives and are since then worked diligently to unite all HND accountancy students and alumni so established under one umbrella. When asked about the secret of his victory as the national finance officer, the response was “not by might neither is it by his power, it is just as a result of the gracious power of God! During his tenure of office, he, in collaboration with the other executives successfully organized the annual delegates mini and main congress, the reprint of the APHAS cloth and the creation of a national website for this association. His motto has always been to God is the Glory, great things he has done. |
